Executive Chairman & Co-founder
Frank Raines is Executive Chairman and co-founder of XAPPmedia. In that role he provides strategic guidance, assists in marketing and fundraising, and leads the board in oversight of the management team. Frank is the retired Chairman and CEO of Fannie Mae and previously was a General Partner of the investment bank Lazard Freres & Co. He was also the Director of the Office of Management and Budget in the Clinton Administration. He has served on the board of Directors of six Fortune 100 companies. Frank also served as Co-Chairman of the Business Roundtable and Vice Chairman of the Business Council.
Frank has been an investor and board member of several start-up companies including Revolution Health (merged with Everyday Health), Revolution Money (acquired by American Express), Extend Health (acquired by Towers Watson), and Exclusive Resorts. Frank is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law School. He attended Magdalen College, Oxford University as a Rhodes Scholar.

CEO & Co-founder
Pat is an entrepreneur with a career of building technology firms from the ground up. He is building a culture at XAPP that fosters ownership, commitment and innovation from every team member and partner. Prior to XAPP, he was EVP at Xtone; and before that was Founder and CEO of DataFocus. DataFocus was a pioneer in data modeling and relational data base design and later developed NuTCRACKER. He sold the services business to CIBER, and the NuTCRACKER business to MKS (now PTC).
Pat received a BS in Civil Engineering with High Honors from the U. S. Coast Guard Academy and an MS in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois where he was inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

CTO & Co-founder
John Kelvie has over fifteen years of experience as an entrepreneur, CTO and developer. His passion is building software, and teams, from day zero to market leaders. John was co-founder and Chief Architect of Overture Technologies, an innovator in automated underwriting systems for mortgage and higher education. At Overture, he built the engineering team to over twenty developers and the software was recognized as the premium offering in large-scale mortgage underwriting. He then served as CTO of ODIN Technologies where he led development and initiated the company's transition from services to a leading RFID software company.
Immediately prior to XAPPmedia, John was founder of Atomizer Software where he focused on mobile, educational game development and experiential social software. Early in his career he worked for both iXL and American Management Systems. John is a graduate from Duke University.

Chief Product Officer & Co-founder
Michael Myers has built a career on bringing new and exciting technologies to market. After working on autonomous vehicles in college, he moved on to the RFID business, developing innovative technology for the Department of Defense, as well as for social media platforms. Prior to joining XAPP, he partnered with John Kelvie, our CTO, at Atomizer Software where he concentrated on mobile and web development.
Michael has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Virginia and is also an avid ultra-marathoner.

SVP Sales & Advertiser Relations
A former Microsoft executive that led federal sales for the technology giant for over 15 years, Paul will work with advertisers and agencies to solve their challenge of connecting with ultramobile consumers through audio apps. Paul recently served as EVP of sales for Online Parking Pass and was founder and CEO of Sky-Fi Studios, a commercial drone service. While at Microsoft, Paul started the Federal sales team and grew it to 250 people who worked with agencies, systems integrators, and solutions providers to deliver enormous revenue growth across multiple sales channels.
Paul received a Masters in Political Science with Honors from The Johns Hopkins University and completed his undergraduate education at Florida State University.

Bret Kinsella has more than 20 years experience in technology marketing, management and consulting. His focus is bringing new B2B technologies to market and has worked in mobile and Internet of Things sectors since 2003 and with voice technologies since 2013. Bret was formerly CMO of social media software company dwinQ, a Vice President at Harris, Chief Operating Officer of ODIN Technologies, an executive at both Sapient and Accenture and founder of Act with Edge.
Bret holds a master of business administration degree from The Anderson School of Management at UCLA, and a bachelor of science in Economics from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a frequent speaker and author on topics ranging from brand strategy, marketing, mobility, and RFID to music industry economics and voice interaction technology.
