XAPPmedia CEO Pat Higbie was honored to be a guest on the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Podcast earlier this week. Higbie joined host Josh Miely to demo the new Amazon Alexa skill that XAPP developed for Federated Media’s B100 radio station in Indiana. Miely calls it a “game changing technological opportunity” for radio broadcasters.
Last week Progressive Insurance announced its launch of the first insurance action on Google Home built by XAPPmedia. In addition to the Progressive announcement, last week Google also named XAPPmedia as a recommended partner for brands looking to get on Google Home. XAPPmedia is proud to be one of just six agencies to earn this distinction from Google and to be one of only five companies recognized by both the Amazon Echo and Google Home teams.
InsideRadio featured the new partnership between XAPPmedia and Federated Media in part one of their "exclusive series on how radio is using digital in groundbreaking ways." Federated Media recently hired XAPPmedia to develop a custom Alexa skill for its country “B100” WBYT South Bend radio station to give listeners access to its audio content through their Alexa-enabled devices.
Amazon published a new webpage earlier today that in part highlights XAPP’s proven expertise in building great Alexa voice experiences for brands and media companies. The Alexa Skill Builders and Tools announcement was designed to help organizations find experts to help with the paradigm shift to connecting with consumers by voice. We are proud to be a part of it.
