WASHINGTON, July 27, 2017 – XAPPmedia, the leader in interactive voice engagement, today announced it was selected by The E.W. Scripps Company (NYSE: SSP) to bring the company’s 34 radio stations in 13 states to Amazon Alexa-supported devices.
WASHINGTON D.C., October 13, 2016 – XAPPmedia, the leader in interactive voice engagement, announced the availability of Brand Haiku, a new Amazon Alexa Skill based on the book Fifty-Seven Brand Haikus written by brand strategist and filmmaker Joseph Benson. This is believed to be the first book to be fully transformed into an interactive voice experience for Amazon’s Alexa.
Podcasting is an audio media. Amazon Alexa and its Echo devices use voice for interaction, but are designed to consume audio media. By our count, there are fewer than 10 podcasters on Alexa as of September 2016 and half of those are either AOL or NPR affiliated properties.
